Mexico City, November 7 (However).- The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran would have conspired to murder the Israeli Ambassador in Mexico, Einat Kranz Neigerstarting at the end of last year, but the effort was stopped, said a American official this friday to Reuters.

“The plot was contained and does not represent a current threat,” declared an official, whose identity was withheld, to Reuters.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the plot to end the life of the diplomat, Einat Kranz Neiger, was active during the first half of 2025. “This is but the latest in a long history of Iran’s global lethal attack plans against diplomats, journalists, dissidents and anyone who disagrees with them, something that should deeply concern all countries in which there is an Iranian presence,” he added.

Israel is one of Iran’s long-standing enemies, but particularly after that country unleashed a series of bombers on Tehran, which led to the intervention of the United States, led by Donald Trump, and the destruction of Iran’s nuclear program.
